To be a citizen of the new world

Prospecting to be a citizen of the world, we need to open widely the book of nature to understand and embrace the grand truth that if everybody, only desire, obtain and practice, the universal chaos disappears.

Let us examine our human anatomy to picture out the most humble part of our body. When it comes to humility, among our body parts, nothing can compare with our feet. Precisely, I would like to share the precious lessons that I ever acquired from the different textbook of nature taught by my Teacher Suksun.

Let us obtain the characteristic of a foot. The foot is the lowest part of the body and serves the rest of the body. It is most beautiful, selfless, and humble; it devotes its whole life to serve the rest of the body without a complaint or displeasure. The foot is different from the rest of the body because it does not brag or show itself off while serving others all its life and is a quiet, selfless worker that likes to hide inside smelly shoes. When the foot becomes exhausted or sick with athlete’s foot or eczema, it never looks grudgingly at the eyes, nose, mouth, head or other parts of the body for making it do their errands. The foot is a meek and humble worker. The foot is also a faithful worker that does all the tough jobs alone. It does not hesitate to be the first to enter anywhere like, comfort room, bathroom, and other places the rest of the body refuse to go into without any doubt it follows the command.

When the feet run with all their strength in an international marathon and gloriously come in first place, no one gives them any credit. No one shakes the feet to congratulate or compliment them for their hard work. Everyone shakes the hands, compliments them, give them awards and prizes, even though they did not do much. Moreover, though the face did nothing, it is shown close up on TV and newspapers as the winner. How upset the feet must be to see the sight! Greedy, selfish people go away seething with wrath. Though it was the feet that worked so hard to win, they selflessly look up to the hands and face that are receiving all the glory and joyfully say, “[He must increase, but I must decrease.] (John 3:30) We [are not worthy of praise. We are servants who have simply done our duty,]” (Luke 17:10) and hide themselves in the smelly shoes.

When Jesus knew that it was time for Him to leave His beloved disciples behind in this world and go back to the father, He planned to give them a final lesson before leaving. This lesson, given during the last meeting with His beloved disciples, was the most important one He gave to them. It was a lesson they were to keep in their hearts forever and practice in their lives the true meaning of foot washing ceremony. The foot-washing ceremony is not a literal but it has a deep meaning in this last days or in our generation to qualify ourselves to be a citizen or heirs to the new world that we are prospecting, a place where no more tears, no more sorrow and everything is in perfect. Why was foot-washing so important that Jesus said, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this”? Now! Our generation is the right time for us to contemplate the absolute and significance of foot-washing ceremony that Jesus given to His disciples two thousand years ago. The Lord was doing more than just washing their feet with water. There was a deep, profound, important, hidden lesson—a lesson that the disciples could not understand but only Jesus knew the deep and hidden meaning to be revealed in this last days.

Peter could not understand his teacher’s words. Until now no one understood that profound truth, that final lesson and revelation. However, with the coming of the spirit of truth, the time has come to understand this truth. When Jesus was washing His disciple’s feet, He was telling them to become humble like feet not by words but he was pointing to possess the true image of a foot. But he said to Peter, what I am doing now you do not understand but you will know after this. Undoubtedly this refers to our present and final generation. Even though we pursued the teaching and truths of heaven for all our lives, we were unable to possess the holy character of heaven because we always thought that we were superior and placed ourselves above others, judging and criticizing them instead of becoming a foot.
