Colin Harrington

Colin Harrington is a natural lucid dreamer with chromesthesia, a seasoned researcher in the psychedelic sciences, and an accomplished composer and sound designer. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Sound Arts and a master’s in Music Technology, he formerly served as a professor and researcher at the University of Plymouth, where he explored the confluence of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and computer music. His pioneering research focuses on brain-computer musical interfaces as tools for expanding human creativity and communication. He demonstrated the world’s first neural interface with a quantum computer to generate music at the Einstein Center in Berlin and the Future Culture Summit in Saudi Arabia. As an educator, he taught courses on artificial intelligence for creativity, digital signal processing, and physical computing. Currently, he is part of an X-Prize team under Google’s Quantum AI, researching quantum neural networks to investigate the nature of quantum consciousness. He is also the technical co-founder and inventor of the Ohmpad, a bio-neural feedback vibroacoustic sound healing platform.

Quantum Consciousness: The Symphony of Existence

Journal Article

This essay explores the possibility that consciousness is not merely a product of the brain, but a resonant phenomenon—an orchestration of wave patterns echoing across quantum fields, cultural traditions, and neural networks. Drawing from physics, music, and sacred practice, the piece invites readers to perceive mind and universe as intertwined in a grand symphony of coherence.
