It is an honor and an inspiration for We, The World to collaborate with Kosmos Journal for 11 Days of Global Unity this year! I was deeply moved by all the submissions that Kosmos collected based on one or more of our 11 Global Unity Themes.

I close my eyes and I am at peace, and it is so.

I close my eyes and see into the hearts and homes of families and they are at peace, and it is so.

I close my eyes and every child on the planet has been fed, and it is so.

I close my eyes and there is no lack in any land, or any life, and it is so.

I close my eyes and Mother Earth and all her creatures are respected and cared for, and it is so.

I close my eyes and forgiveness fills the hearts of the offended, and it is so.

I close my eyes and a single strand of pure light runs through the soul of every citizen of the world. And in that moment, the divisive borders of nations, and race, and religion disappear.

I close my eyes and every present and future act of war and violence vanishes, and it is so.

And finally, miracle of miracles, I open my eyes as every man, woman and child is holding this same vision of our world…at peace.

For only then, will it be so.
