Kosmos Call for Essays and Other Works

We now accept submissions on a rolling basis.

Kosmos is the journal for transformation in harmony with all Life.

Kosmos welcomes submissions that are thoughtful, experiential, and inclusive. We do not promote specific religious views, yet Kosmos is spiritual in nature and embraces all faith traditions grounded in goodwill and humility.

We invite your regenerative insights and deep analysis in the fields of spirituality, ecology, governance, education, justice, and intentional ways of living. Ideal submissions are grounded in direct experience—transformation as lived, felt, and embodied. This may arise through personal practice, nature, community, art, beauty, scientific inquiry, or a sacred moment of truth.

Examples include work related to Earth justice, Indigenous sovereignty, economic healing, or personal stories of resilience through grief, trauma, or awakening. We value truth-telling and vulnerability, while also encouraging accountability and kindness.

Tone and Voice Please avoid instructive language like “we must” or “it is imperative that we…” Speak from your lived experience. Acknowledge that all experience is partial and contextual. None of us holds the full view. Recognize your own bias and privilege. Uplift others.

Ethics and Editorial Integrity Kosmos accepts no sponsored content or product promotion. Critical analysis of culture or systems is welcome, but should be supported by citations and scholarship when possible. Kosmos does not publish partisan political content.

Important Note on Contributor Views We honor the diverse experiences of our contributors. The views expressed in published works are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of Kosmos Journal, its editors, or its Board of Directors.

Editorial Process and Rights Submissions may take several weeks to review. We are not a paying publication at this time, but if accepted, your work will reach a caring and international audience. If selected, we will ask for a short bio (50–100 words) and a JPEG photo. By submitting, you agree to grant Kosmos the right of first publication. If reprinted elsewhere, please credit Kosmos Journal. We will contact you for permission if we wish to republish your work.

For Artists and Media Creators If you are a transformational artist, musician, or filmmaker, please email us at info@kosmosjournal.org before submitting, with the subject line: Submission Inquiry.
