Prospect Citizens of the New World

This is the continuation of the first topic “To be a citizen of the new world” that emphasize to become humble like a foot. Now I would like to introduce another nature bible, which I obtained from my teacher Suksun, to “Become a root”. Among all the trees in the world, it’s the branches that fight each another to take charge of high places. Greedily they try, day and night, to be above the other. Even though the root which is the elder brother sprouted first, without a word, it humbly digs deeply into the ground, acting as an elder brother, while the younger branches who came out later than it, frantically crawl up, immaturely and imprudently trying to take over the high places. The root is very humble and selfless, without a word the root continuously supporting the whole tree, while the immature younger branches fight one another who is better than the other, trying to climb up above one another, it is the roots who, in order to feed their younger brothers, go deeper into the ground, drawing out fresh water to satisfy his brothers. The higher the younger brother branches climb up to take charge the high places, the higher they sprout, the deeper the elder root brother goes down into the earth, to draw up the living water and feeds them without complain.

Though the branches eat and live, indebted to the root for taking such great pains, yet they do not even know how to be grateful, merely shaking themselves and making an uproar, bragging over who is better looking. However, the roots toiling tirelessly feeding and supporting them day and night, holding fast onto the branches to prevent them from falling over. Therefore if we want to be a prospect citizen of the new world we must also obtain the spirit of humility to become a root especially if we are aspiring to exercise or letting the dawn of positive change for a perfect reformation of the so called “Rebirth in Governance” campaign. If a farmer transplant a certain tree to another place, normally some of the branches will be cut off in order to minimize the burden or the tribulation executed for the purpose of bringing to a better place. We’re in the process to be transplanted to heaven based on our religious faith, but when trials and tribulation comes our way, if we are failure to possess of becoming selfless like a root but instead we became like branches that easily blown by the wind when there is tribulation. When someone tries to be above the other of course conflict will arise. Nevertheless, if everybody competes one another to become selfless like a root, they are precisely capable to be a national leader the country they belong.

Utopia sounds incredible but definitely possible if everybody only become selfless like a foot, and like a root serving wholeheartedly to his brother.
