Dear Kosmos Reader,

Twice a year Kosmos invites our readers to submit an essay. We choose 2 or 3 essays to publish in our hard copy journal and publish several others in our newsletter and on our website. This is an opportunity for you to share your work and expertise with a large international audience.

TOPIC: Connecting for Change

Kosmos recently conducted a study of the growing global movement of people engaged in building more just and sustainable systems, who are guided in part by the belief that a transformation in human awareness is now underway. We will be sharing insights from that research soon and using what we have learned for our own transition to the next phase of our work at Kosmos.

We connected with 336 organizations and individuals in alignment with a global transformation that goes by many names – The New Story, Transition, Great Turning, and the Shift, among others.

While momentum is growing daily, many groups are working in relative isolation outside the mainstream. Kosmos believes that the next step is connecting the good work of many, and reaching out to wider audiences, for greater impact.

What are your ideas about connecting for change? How are you collaborating with others to co-create a more beautiful world? Or is there a longing in your heart for connection you haven’t yet found? What would it look like? What policies and paradigms would best enable that connection to take place? How do you draw the relationship between inner transformation and connection?
