On June 15, 2018, Kosmos Associates premieres Kosmos Quarterly, an innovative new e-Journal. The Quarterly contains the same quality features already familiar to Kosmos subscribers – inspirational writing and art – along with enhanced media offerings such as spoken word, music, video and more. Readers will be able to enjoy the Quarterly online or download it to their Kindle or other e-reader.
Each Quarterly is a deep dive into a special theme through the lens of transformation. Rhonda Fabian will expand her role as digital editor to lead the new editorial team. Nancy Roof, Kosmos founder and editor of Kosmos Journal will assume an advisory role as Editor Emeritus.
New innovations for the Quarterly
Kosmos Quarterly is introducing several enhancements as a result of the move to digital.
Editorial Circles | Four times a year, Kosmos convenes a global group of Advising Editors aligned with an edition’s theme. For 100 days, this intentional Circle ‘incubates’ the coming edition. Each fresh Circle brings expertise and new perspectives to Kosmos subscribers.
Media ‘Rooms’ | Video, podcasts, interviews, spoken word, author readings and an ‘audio tour’ of the Quarterly are integral elements of each edition.
Course View| Each Quarterly can be explored as a 4-week self-paced learning experience. The Course View format is ideal for individuals and study groups who wish to use the Quarterly in a more formal way, with discussion guides, writing prompts, social forums and more.
Personal Practice | Each edition of Kosmos Quarterly offers meditations, exercises and practices to expand personal awareness and wellbeing, and to inspire greater creativity and service.
The theme of the first edition of Kosmos Quarterly is Unlearning Together, shedding the limiting beliefs and cultural assumptions holding us back from participating fully in a loving Universe. We work to break free from fears, scarcity-thinking, ‘othering’, and competitive mindsets that oppress us and others. Embracing practices that support collective healing and transformation, we gather the strength to liberate our hearts and minds and awaken to deeper service.
Our mission is to inform, inspire and engage individual and collective participation for global transformation in harmony with all Life. We do this by sharing transformational thinking and policy initiatives, aesthetic beauty and collective wisdom.→ read more.
