Alfredo Sfeir-Younis Ph.D. is Senior Adviser to the Managing Directors Office, The World Bank. Formerly he was the Special Representative of the World Bank to the UN and WTO and President, School of Economics, University of Chile. He publishes articles and lectures internationally on spirituality and global issues. His major interest is in Spiritual Economics, Business and Entrepreneurship, Human Values in Economics, Finance and Sustainable Development. He is particularly interested in developing approaches that include the spiritual dimension of sustainable development, the role that human values play in national and global policy, and the elements that enliven the soul of business. He has received numerous awards including Lifetime Ambassador of Peace, World Healer Award, and Social Corporate Responsibility Award.
